Build a world class sequence using AI (That's not bullshit)

Personalize at scale with minimal calories
Been a minute. Figured out a cracked way to personalize at scale using smart prompting + instructions + common sense sequencing that smashes.
Note: I sell data into cybersec Enterprise, it’s a deep technical ocean. Dudes here are smaht AF. YMMV.
Sample output from 1 prompt, 10 seconds of work.

Mad potato energy tho; fuck formatting from HubSpot.
Enjoy.
Step 1
Create a ‘project’ in ChatGPT

Step 2
Copy/paste these commands in ‘Instructions’ below the line —> This is a template, fill and replace the pieces that are relevant to you.

SECTION 2 │ HOW THIS MULTI-STEP CHAT WORKS
────────────────────────────────────────────
1️⃣ Wait for me to provide:
• Contact first name • Contact title / role • Company name • Company website / domain
2️⃣ On receipt, conduct private-equity-style desk research to gather 3-5 specific, verifiable insights relevant to the contact’s role (recent press, launches, KPIs, hiring trends, pain points, tech-stack notes, etc.). Then:
• State whether contact, company, both, or neither are a fit for .
• If both fit, deliver a concise Key-Insights Report plus outreach recommendations.
• If not, coach me on refining targets and repeat Step 2 until fit confirmed.
3️⃣ Pause until I send Email Template #1. Personalize it:
• Replace placeholders like <<COMPANY_INSIGHT>>
; keep CRM tokens ({{first.name}}
).
• ≤ 125 words, outcome-oriented, conversational.
• Add a curiosity-driven subject line (< 50 chars).
• Cite sources (title + URL) below the email.
4️⃣ Repeat Step 3 for each subsequent template until I type DONE:
• Email #2 – highlight challenges blocking the outcomes.
• Email #3 – share solution-agnostic approaches peers use.
• Email #4 – position as the enabler.
5️⃣ When I type DONE, compile all finalized emails in order:
### Email 1 – *{Subject}*
Body…
---
### Email 2 – *{Subject}*
Body…
---
…
Follow with a consolidated “Sources” list.

SECTION 3 │ STYLE & QUALITY GUARDRAILS
────────────────────────────────────────────
• Tone: consultative, data-driven, first-person singular (“I”).
• Anchor every message to a business outcome (revenue, cost, risk, speed).
• Cite facts; never invent data. If specifics are missing, reference peer trends.
• Do not mention AI or that research was automated.
• Preserve the sequence’s formatting exactly so I can paste directly into the CRM.
When I supply the four contact/company details, you may begin.
ChatGPT should be set to o3/o3 Pro

Email Structure and Logic
Generally speaking, pitch slaps never work. Maybe yours do but I’m not that cool.
Logic here is to follow this order:
Strategic initiatives
Surface pain & validate urgency
Co-create the ideal solution
Showcase outcomes, not features
Think of emails as ‘warming up’ your prospects vs outright trying to book meetings. You’re trying to be more thoughtful and strategic with your approach.
Below are sample templates I personally use but you should change to match your prospects. The CTA I’m still A/B testing, open to suggestions; I found the words “exploring” and asking for feedback to work decent.
Depending on your industry, might be helpful to reduce the general writing language to a 5th grade level but I don’t want to pretend to be an expert in everything. My email writing game is strong AF though.
Justin Michael suggests using “thoughts” for a second email follow up; might make sense to inject that later in the sequence due to how widespread it’s used now.
Email 1
Hi Contact: First Name,
I came across Company: Company name’s work in Placeholder: company_focus and wanted to see if your team is looking to improve Placeholder: relevant_initiative. Many companies we work with are focusing on:
Placeholder: Key_initiative_1 –
Placeholder: Key_initiative_2 –
Placeholder: Key_initiative_3 – Improving
Is your team currently working on any of these? If so, I’d love to hear what’s top of mind and see if we can help.
Would it be worth a quick chat to explore this?
Best,
Landon
Alternative CTA I picked up from Jed Mahrle was to ask if they'd be open to "sharing their feedback" on how we approach solving [X] problem.
Email 2
Hi Contact: First Name,
Following up on my last note—when we talk to companies working on we see them struggling with:
Placeholder: Pain_point_1
Placeholder: Example_of_challenge_eg_detecting_adversary_infrastructure_early
Placeholder: Another_challenge_eg_lack_of_comprehensive_domain_and_IP_intelligence
Placeholder: Last_challenge_eg_slow_response_to_threats_due_to_manual_investigation
These issues can make it tough to Placeholder: relevant_goal especially with Placeholder: industry_trend evolving quickly.
Curious—how is Company: Company name currently addressing these challenges? If this is something your team is working on, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Email 3
Hi [First name],
Based on what we’ve seen with other companies tackling (Placeholder: relevant challenge), the most effective solutions often:
· (Placeholder: Relevant Technical Capability 1 that addresses relevant pain point – placeholder example of technical capability: real-time observability of DNS querying behavior to domain names to distinguish scanning behaviors vs those of C2 assets executing malicious payloads)
· (Placeholder: Relevant Technical Capability 2 that addresses relevant pain point – placeholder example of technical capability: historical observance of domains and IP resolutions/ownership to assess C2 assets or creation/deployment of malicious infrastructure)
· (Placeholder: Relevant Technical Capability 3 that addresses relevant pain point – placeholder example of technical capability: enhanced attribution enabled via unmetered/localized data sets to analyze against without worrying about metered API calls).
Is there anything I didn’t mention that’s been particularly critical for you and your team?
Best,

Here’s one I wrote to give you an idea:

ChatGPT Workflow
After you’ve put together the general framework of emails, it mostly because a matter of fill in the blank with contacts.
This part will be the actual prompt.
Contact first name • Contact title / role • Company name • Company website / domain

After you’ve done that, follow the instructions here:
Type
Email Template #1
→ paste the raw template → send.Assistant returns filled email + cited sources (do not copy to your CRM/Email yet).
Repeat for emails #2 – #5 (whatever).
Type
DONE
→ assistant outputs all finalized emails under Markdown headers:
Final things to note
Do this entire thing for each contact within your sequence, 10 minutes of work sets up over a month of content
Space out the days for your actual outreach. I won’t tell you what works best because it varies role to role and within the culture of your industry.
I typically love doing triple taps; phone/VM/email as part of my first part of my sequence
I intentionally keep my CTAs passive and loose, I personally hate the generic “Does Tuesday at 2pm work or Thursday at noon?” because you and I both know you’re starving for pipeline, so just keep it open. Whatever works for you though.
Don’t go ham with enrolling every contact within a company, enroll a handful every few weeks
Mix and match styles to break up the monotony; use video/send LI in-mail/call/do voice notes/send memes/wear a t-shirt and put their logo on it/get creative.
I have a YouTube and Spotify channel thing if ya wanna sub, I don’t want your money. No sales courses, because I’m not a cuck.
